In partnership with the Florida Nurses Foundation (FNF), Health Carousel, a leading provider of healthcare staffing solutions, announced a $200,000 commitment over the next three years to support nurse education, practice, and quality patient care through its Health Education Grant Program. The Health Carousel Foundation will award grants to non-profit organizations that provide nursing education to registered nurses (RNs) in Florida. These funds will support state-of-the-art programs to improve the state’s nursing education and patient care quality.

We are delighted to announce this new commitment to support nurse education and practice in Florida, where we have a significant presence.” $100,000 will be awarded to nursing schools in South Florida for scholarships for undergraduate students pursuing degrees in nursing.

The scholarship program aims to increase the supply of well-trained nurses in Florida and the United States. In addition, $10,000 of this grant will be used for scholarships for graduate students pursuing advanced degrees in nursing as part of their clinical training. $50,000 will be awarded to two nursing schools located in South Florida. “I am pleased to announce this multi-year investment in the nursing profession, which will support a variety of programs and initiatives,” said the CEO of Health Carousel. “We are proud to continue our commitment on this International Nurses Day to impact the lives of healthcare professionals across the globe positively.”
