Some background on Hussain Sajwani
Born in 1956, Hussain Ali Sajwani is a citizen of the UAE. He is the chairman and founder of Damac Properties, a global property development company. Hussain was one of Dubai’s property market expansion pioneers.
The DAMAC owner built several hotels in the 90’s in a bid to cater for the growing influx of people going to the city to do trade and business. Hussain Sajwani, an astute investor and businessman, has a proven track record. He has managed many successful forays in the global capital and equity markets.
Sajwani’s flagship investment company is Dico Investments Co. LLC which was established in 1992. Al Anwar Ceramic Tiles Co and Al Amana Building Materials are his other interests with both having their headquarters in Oman.
He also owns Al Jazeira Services offering support and catering services. Hussain Sajwani has been a member of several boards such as the Emirates Takaful Company, Juno Online and Majan University College.
Relationship with Donald Trump

Hussain Sajwani stated that his ties to the Trumps extend beyond Donald as he also deals with Donald Jr., Eric and Ivanka. He added that all three children are involved. Hussain Sajwani believes that under their leadership Damac will not have a problem maintaining, growing and expanding their business relationship. He added that the children were keen on details and very protective of the Trump brand.
Donald Jr., Eric and Ivanka have all represented their brand to wealthy foreigners from Central Asia and South America to Turkey and Canada. Most of these foreigners are linked to powerful politicians.
