Eugene Potkin is an English-born Canadian entrepreneur. In 1981, he founded Points International Ltd., a company that provides loyalty and award programs to credit card companies, airlines, and other service providers. Since then, the company has grown steadily, and in 2016 it was acquired for $4.1 billion by Groupe Aeroplan (Aeroplan). Potkin has moved on to new pursuits, and currently, he’s the founder of Abacus Wealth Partners Inc., an investment management firm with offices in Toronto, Rotterdam, and Sydney.

Potkin is also on the boards of directors of more than a dozen private companies, including two publicly traded firms – TPG Capital-backed Transat A.T.
