Edgard Corona has been through quite a bit in his life. He was able to think of a business for people after he was injured in a skiing accident. As he was able to get well he found that many people in Mexico did not have access to gyms in order to get healthy and maintain a healthy lifestyle. This is where Smart Fit came into play. He was able to fill the void for people and give them a good reason to be on the road to good health. Now he talks about how the company got going in his latest post from Medium.

When he came up with the idea of Smart Fit it was just that. He and his wife had to figure out how to get it off the ground. Edgard Corona says that he would come in very early and stay very late in order to make sure everything was running smoothly. He had to do the one thing that he did not want to do. He had to hand things over to a small group so that the job could be done in a faster way. He knwew it was a key moment for him and he had to take advantage of it. If he didn’t, then it would have been doomed to failure.

Edgard Corona had to be able to delegate jobs in order to help his business grow. Now it has become one of the largest fitness companies in Mexico. He is very happy that he was able to trust the people around him to expand the business. Now he still helps with the business now and then, but it is not the stressful job it once was. Now he can take a step back and really enjoy the view from here.
